PENTA sponsored a Street play on "Plight Of Women" in the office premises at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai on Women's Day - March 07 2014. The play was enacted by a group of 15 students who are studying MCA at Sinhgad Institute, Lonavala.
The skit depicted the gamut of issues faced by women today, right from eve teasing to forced female foeticide, dowry deaths, rape etc….. One of the most important aspects of this play was that there was no formal script, the dialogues were composed by the actors and improvised by them during the show.
The play was well received and conveyed the message clearly. Initiatives to enact and present such plays increase awareness and sensitivity to women's concerns.
Here is what our director Mr Jayanta Saha, had to say on this occasion: "I have seen in developed countries how women power is being harnessed. At the same time, I have seen in third world countries how women power is neglected. India is categorized as developing country, but our women should break the stereotype of being a back up citizen and come ahead to utilize the opportunities and be part of the nation's growth".
We are committed to our clients, shareholders, employees, and especially the communities where we work. Our goal is to minimize any negative impact to the environment while helping our clients continuously improve the integration of environmental protection measures in their projects. Our designs are in compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
